Before medicine, I once imagined becoming a fashion designer. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, proportion, and the small details that change how we see ourselves.
My love of science eventually led me to medicine, where I spent years caring for some of the most vulnerable patients in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Then I became a mother.
Motherhood changed the way I thought about time, priorities, and what it means to feel like yourself. Between caring for patients, raising a family, and meeting everyone’s needs, I began to appreciate how easily we can put ourselves last.
It also changed how I viewed beauty.
I became less interested in dramatic transformations and more interested in the small, meaningful changes that help someone feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
Aesthetics brought together parts of myself that had always been there: medicine, science, creativity, and an appreciation for subtle details.
I created Speak to practice medicine in a way that reflects those values—and to give others a place to explore what feeling like themselves means to them.
Credentials
Medicine shaped my standards.
My background in pediatrics and neonatology taught me to value careful observation, precision, clinical judgment, and the responsibility that comes with caring for patients.
As I transitioned into medical aesthetics, I completed additional education and training in the United States, and aesthetic education and clinical observation in South Korea, focusing on facial anatomy, aesthetic techniques, skin health, and treatment technologies.
I bring the same commitment to learning and patient care into Speak.
